Creates a new entry in the connected database. You must enter a name and the depth of the new borehole. Once done, a first data point will select the position of the new point and a second data point will confirm the creation and posting of the borehole to the database.

An elevation can be attributed to the point by selecting existing ground which must be a terrain model. If no terrain is selected, the default elevation of the new point is 0.00. A new borehole can only be created when a connection to a database is open.
